WHAT'S BEHIND?
It's me, Deimante Statinyte.
I adore a playful and colorful life. The brand name MILK2MOUTHS originates from my Lithuanian pen name, PIENBURNIAI. Some interpret it as “milk two mouths,” while others imagine it as “milk into mouths.” Yes, I truly love milky minds and vibes.
I was born and raised in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. For many years, I worked as a project manager in the communications field, navigating PR agencies, creative studios, numerous clients.
In 2015, I began exploring the idea of creating shoes adorned with bold and unexpected details. With the help of Lithuanian footwear masters, I started designing shoes with playful, unconventional objects.
A few years later, I embraced the challenge of shoemaking studies, a tough yet rewarding journey. This experience allowed me to master the craft of shoemaking—from the initial concept to the finished pair of shoes on my feet.
Today, I focus on crafting shoe designs with meticulous attention to details made from unusual everyday objects. Every pair of shoes begins with milky minds and is brought to life by diligent hands. I hope you’ll find a pair that feels like yours.
